Bring me back something expensive from Venice. Ok, you don’t have to. But if you want to you can. But no pressure. But if you think of it. Just don’t feel obligated.

I guess what I am saying is, I want an iPhone.

HAHAHAHA… rich… i found you an iPhone in Venice… but unfortunately is was at the bottom of the grande canal. but i have for you, if you want it. i bet if you put a sweet looking case on it, you could pretend to talk on it, and nobody would know the difference… except you… and me… but i also got you a bright pink ITALIA jacket, but it says something about italian princess on the back, so i dont know…

Told you so!!! Try not to leave an arm and a leg there. And crap – I don’t think I can send you anything for Venice because, honest to goodness, I don’t remember how to get anywhere. I mostly spent 4 days getting miserably lost. Which was amazing. So I’ll let you do the same.

BUT! If you stumble across a little shop of gorgeous water color paintings of the city, stop and take it in for me. And don’t break your camera! :) Love you!

Your dad told me last week he hopes you’re having the time of your life, no matter the cost, so I guess that means price is no object…
Seriously, he and your mom are quite proud of your adventurous spirit. I’m just impressed that you’re taking in such a broad range of cultural influences. Somewhere in Europe, one of my nephews is bouncing around from friend to friend, living out his last big post-grad blast before he heads out on his own for a “real” job and kicks off life as an adult. I’ll try to figure out his itinerary, and if you guys are going to be in the same country, will try to get contact info out to you. Be safe – enjoy yourself thoroughly, and soak in enough to be able to share stories through 18 holes.
